- The staff of ICAN School will review your order and contact you within 5 working days to confirm acceptance or discuss any issues

8.8 Amendments to Confirmed Orders:
Once an order has been confirmed in writing by ICan School, you may request modifications (e.g., quantity changes, size adjustments, or cancellation). We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested changes, but we cannot guarantee that amendments will be possible due to stock constraints or operational factors. Any modifications may affect the order completion timeline or pickup date.
9. PAYMENT AND COLLECTION (NON-ONLINE PAYMENT MODEL)
In-Person Payment and Pickup at School
9.1 Payment Method:
No online payment is processed. Instead:
- You submit your order online through the Website
- ICan School staff confirms your order and the total amount due
- Payment is collected in person at the school by authorized school staff at a scheduled pickup date
- Pickup occurs at the school following successful payment
9.2 Accepted Payment Methods at Pickup:
Payment in person may be made by:
- Cash
- Debit card (subject to point-of-sale terminal availability)
- Credit card (subject to point-of-sale terminal availability)
- Bank transfer (if arranged in advance with school administration)
- Other payment methods as communicated by school staff
9.3 Payment Timing and Collection Schedule
- ICan School staff will communicate a scheduled payment and collection date following order confirmation
- Payment must be made on or before the scheduled collection date to avoid order cancellation
- If payment is not made by the scheduled date, we may cancel the unpaid order without further notice and reallocate the merchandise to other customers
- No refund will be issued for canceled unpaid orders unless otherwise agreed in writing
9.4 Unpaid Orders – Cancellation Policy:
Orders placed in a non-online payment process that remain unpaid after 2 weeks from order confirmation will be subject to automatic cancellation. We will make reasonable efforts to remind you of the payment deadline via email or telephone, but your failure to pay does not prevent cancellation.
Upon cancellation of an unpaid order:
- The merchandise will be returned to inventory for resale
- You will forfeit any right to the specific sizes, colors, or styles originally ordered
- No compensation or refund will be due
9.5 Payment Receipt and Documentation:
Upon payment at school, you will receive:

9.6 Risks and Responsibility – Before Pickup:
Between the time of payment and actual merchandise pickup:
- ICan School remains the custodian of the merchandise on your behalf
- We take reasonable care to protect merchandise from damage, theft, or loss
- We maintain appropriate storage conditions
- However, you assume the risk of the merchandise once payment is made
- We will not be liable for loss, damage, theft, or deterioration of merchandise while held for pickup unless caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct
9.7 Risks and Responsibility – After Pickup:
Upon receipt of merchandise:
- All risks transfer to you, including risk of loss, damage, theft, or deterioration
- We will not accept claims for damage, defects, or losses reported after pickup, except as provided in the Returns & Exchanges Policy (Section 11 of this Terms)
- It is your responsibility to inspect merchandise immediately upon pickup and report any defects or discrepancies within 24 hours
10. FUTURE ONLINE PAYMENT MODEL (NOT CURRENTLY ACTIVE)
10.1 Future Implementation:
Future versions of ICan Shop may enable online payment processing. When online payment model is implemented, this section will apply. We will provide notice of activation on the Website.
10.2 Online Payment Processing:
When online payment is enabled, you will be able to:
- Complete your entire transaction online, including payment
- Pay by credit card, debit card, bank transfer, or other methods as offered
- Receive a digital receipt and order confirmation

- Report suspicious activity immediately
10.5 Refunds for Online Payments:

11. RETURNS & EXCHANGES POLICY
11.1 Consumer Right to Return Merchandise
Under the Cyprus Law on Consumer Rights (Law 59/1991, as amended) and the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), you have specific rights to return and exchange merchandise. This section sets out the procedures and conditions.
A. RIGHT TO RETURN AFTER PURCHASE (NO REASON REQUIRED)
11.2 Right of Withdrawal – Unpaid Orders
If you have placed an order but have not yet paid, you may cancel the order freely and without reason at any time before or on the scheduled payment date.

We will confirm cancellation via email. No fees or penalties apply for cancellation of unpaid orders.
11.3 Right of Withdrawal – Paid Orders:
If you have paid for merchandise but have not yet collected it, you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days from the date you received the order confirmation email (the "Withdrawal Period"), without providing any reason.
To request withdrawal:

- Statement that you wish to withdraw from the purchase
- Communicate within the 14-day Withdrawal Period – the withdrawal request must be received by us before the end of the 14th day

- The full purchase price will be refunded to your original payment method (for online payments)
- For cash/card payments at ICan School, we will issue a refund at the ICan School or via bank transfer (at your option)
- Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal request
11.4 Exceptions to Right of Withdrawal
The right to withdraw does NOT apply to:
- Personalized or custom-made items (e.g., merchandise with student names or custom designs embroidered or printed at the time of order)
- Hygiene-sensitive products (e.g., underwear, socks, or similar items for hygiene reasons, once opened or unsealed)
- Items with short expiration dates or limited shelf life
- Non-defective items for which you have chosen not to pay in cash, as per section 9 – if you decline payment on the scheduled date, the withdrawal period does not apply
B. RETURNS FOR UNUSED, UNDAMAGED MERCHANDISE
11.5 Right to Return – Unused, Undamaged Items
If you have received merchandise and wish to return it for any reason, you may do so within 14 days of collection or delivery, provided that:
- The item is unused, unwashed, and undamaged – no visible signs of wear, use, or damage
- Tags are still attached and have not been removed or altered
- Original packaging is intact (where applicable)
- The item is in the same condition as when collected – resale condition
- Personalization and hygiene exceptions apply – cannot return custom items or hygiene-sensitive products
Returns requested after 14 days will not be accepted except in cases of defect or incorrect shipment (see Section 11.6).
To request a return:

In case of Online Payment:
- Return procedures will be communicated when online payment is activated
- We will provide prepaid return labels and shipping instructions
- You may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective
C. REFUNDS AND REFUND PROCESS
11.7 Conditions for Refund Approval
We will approve refunds for returned merchandise that meets all of the following conditions:
- Merchandise is unused, unwashed, and unworn
- Tags are attached and intact
- Original packaging is preserved
- Item is in resale condition
- Return is requested within the applicable timeframe (14 days)
- Proof of purchase is provided
- Item does not fall within excluded categories (see Section 11.8)
We will reject or partially refund merchandise that is:
- Damaged, stained, or soiled
- Showing signs of wear or use (wrinkles, fading, pilling, etc.)
- Missing tags or labels
- Improperly packaged or stored
- Personalized or custom-made
- Hygiene-sensitive items (underwear, socks) once opened
- Returned outside the applicable timeframe
11.8 Refund Exclusions:
Refunds will NOT be issued for:
- Personalized items with student names, initials, or custom designs
- Hygiene-sensitive products (underwear, socks, intimate apparel) for health and safety reasons
- Items showing any visible wear, use, washing, or damage
- Items with missing or damaged tags
- Merchandise damaged by improper storage or handling by you
- Sale, discount, or clearance-priced items (unless faulty or defective)
- Items excluded by applicable law or manufacturer restrictions
11.9 Refund Processing and Timeline:
Upon approval of your return:
- We will inspect the merchandise within 3-5 working days
- You will receive email confirmation of refund approval or rejection
- If approved, the refund will be issued as follows:

11.10 Defect or Damage Discovered Upon Collection/Receipt:
If merchandise arrives with defects, damage, or manufacturing faults that were not caused by you, you are entitled to:
- Free repair or replacement
- Full refund if repair or replacement is not possible
To report defects:

- Detailed description of the defect or damage
- High-quality photographs clearly showing the defect from multiple angles
- Do not attempt repairs or alterations – this may void your claim
- Preserve packaging and tags – keep these with the item

11.11 Remedy for Defective Items:
Upon confirmation that an item is defective or damaged due to a manufacturing fault or improper handling by us:
- We will replace the item at no cost (if in stock and available)
- Or we will offer a full refund (if replacement is not available)
- We will arrange the collection of the defective item or provide return instructions
- Defects will be covered within 2 years from the date of delivery, in accordance with Cyprus law
E. INCORRECT OR MISSING ITEMS
11.12 Notification of Missing or Incorrect Items
If you receive an order with:
- Missing items (items paid for but not included in your collection/delivery)
